Beautiful experience of the Under 14 women’s group formed by the girls born in the years 2009 and 2010 of the Sekal Nuovo Basket Rovigo and of the Alba Basket 2015, who for a couple of years have joined forces for women’s basketball.
The Under 14 team from Polesana participated on Sunday and Monday in the “1st Friendship Tournament – Memorial Marzio Ceretta”, organized by Victoria San Bonifacio. Two days dedicated to female sport, friendship and sharing. In addition to the Under 14 of the Nuovo Basket Rovigo / Alba Basket 2015, the tournament was attended by Victoria San Bonifacio, Garda Basket, Ubik Pallacanestro, Women’s Basketball Padova and Ifodiussh Basketball, Ukrainian team, coming from the province of Ivano-Frankivsk. Friendship and sport, in memory of Marzio Ceretta, historic basketball figure and great sport lover, recently passed away.
The tournament was the first official engagement of the team coached by Chiara Zago and Siro Zagato (with manager Francesco Trevisan), but the collaboration between the companies of the President Gionata Morello of Nuovo Basket Rovigo, and of the President Stefano Braga of the Club adriese, is now well-established and involves not only the Under 14 girls, but also the group of the oldest and also the younger. And there are several other projects on the horizon.
