Table tennis (Pro B men). PPC Villeneuve/Lot loses at home

The affairs of the PPCV got a little more complicated during the second meeting. Vildan Gadiev got the better of Olajidé Omotayo in the first two races. This was without counting on a turnaround. Omotayo won the next three sets and the PPCV was back in the running (1-1) when it was time to go to the locker room.

At the end of the suspense

The marathon in which Jules Cavaillé and Arman Hajiei engaged at the start of the second act allowed the Villeneuvois camp to take control of the match (2-1), before the return to the table of Ahmadian who was keen to redeem after his failure at the opening of the evening. Facing Gadiev, the PPCV player did not have the opportunity. Sole master at the table, Gadiev dictated his law and folded the match in three sets (11-7, 11-8, 11-4).

Returning to equality (2-2), the outcome of this match was to be decided between Omotayo and Brard. Pushed by the Villeneuvois public, Omotayo had a lot of trouble, and despite the first round in his pocket (13-11), he left the hand to his opponent. Brard was on cloud nine (11-7, 11-8). Omotayo released his last strength in the battle, but it was his opponent who kept the hand (11-7). The final victory was for Argentan (3-2).
