Former Barcelona soccer player Gerard Piqué presented a new soccer competition 7the Kings League, which will be played by 12 teams owned by some of the content creators most popular spanish speaking and that it is promoted by the Kosmos company.

“We want to make a football product that is close to the people, that allows access to the teams’ changing rooms, that the public sees the presidents negotiate for the players and that the public can participate with a ‘draft'”, said Piqué, who will be the president of the competition, in the presentation that took place in the Parallel 62 room in Barcelona.

Furthermore, Piqué explained that “It’s an idea that came up a few months ago.” when he went “to eat” with the content creator Ibai Llanos. “Perhaps we see former players playing in this league, but I still don’t see myself playing. I just retired”, pointed out the former Barça captain.

The Kings League will be made up of 12 teams and will be played over 11 days that will be played on Sunday. The six matches of each day will be streamed live on the Kings League and content creators’ Twitch channel.

Some of the owners will be former soccer player Sergio ‘Kun’ Agüero and content creators Ibai Llanos, DjMaRiiO, Rivers and The Grefg.
