The Netherlands, easy winners of Qatar (2-0) and first of their group, will face the United States, fallers in the difficulty of Iran (1-0) and second in group B. The two nations will open the ball for the round of 16 of the World Cup this Saturday afternoon at 4 p.m. It is an unprecedented meeting for the two nations which have never faced each other in this competition. The partners of the talented Cody Gakpo, author of three goals, start as favorites, but the Americans, fiery, dream of winning a new place in the quarter-finals, twenty years after the previous one.
The other poster of the round of 16 will oppose Sunday evening (8 p.m.), England, winner of Wales (3-0), Senegal, second in group B after their success against Ecuador (2-1 ).
