Fifth placed on the 1XBET Feminine Superliga leaderboard, with 15 points conquered in eight games (five wins and three defeats), Fluminense receives Energis 8 São Caetano this Friday (12/16), at 7:30 pm, at the Clube Hebraica, in a game postponed from the eighth round. The team from São Paulo has only six points and occupies the 11th place in the competition.

For the match, tricolor coach Guilherme Schmitz once again has the complete squad at his disposal. Argentine winger Elina, top scorer in the Superliga with 16 aces, returns after testing positive for Covid-19 and missing out on the team in the victory over Unilife Maringá, last Friday (12/09).

“Covid affected my breathing and my return was well controlled by the coaching staff. I’m still not one hundred percent, but I’m ready for the match. Our team has been playing well and I hope we beat São Caetano to continue the good campaign in the Super League,” said Elina.

Fluminense has a wide advantage in the direct confrontation with São Caetano in games for the Superliga. There are ten victories conquered in the ten games played between the teams.
