Basketball: Delphine Lecoultre is proud of her team’s results

The women’s team of Castelnau Basket, which plays in the Women’s Pre-National, has so far achieved an exceptional faultless performance with 10 wins in 10 games played. However, the second phase promises to be indecisive and thrilling. We made a progress point with Delphine Lecoultre, the team captain, who announces the color with the objective of climbing to National 3.

What are your team’s strengths?

Our team is very complete this year, we have very good players. Our outside players are very good shooters who also like to play on the counter-attack. Our indoors, large in size, can play both in the racket and outside. Our players are versatile and they are all capable of taking on their responsibilities when the time comes. We can count on everyone, that’s what makes us strong.

You did a 10/10 in the first part of the season. In what state of mind do you approach the second phase?

We are very satisfied with this first part of the season. Ten games, ten wins. We are the team that has scored the most points, and the one that has conceded the least. We can be proud! However, we are well aware that the second phase will be more intense than the first. We will have to continue to work seriously, one match after another, to win the maximum number of victories in this upper pool.

Do you know your opponents? Which team do you think is the most dangerous?

In this upper hen, we will again play against the Rivesaltes and ASPTT teams, teams that we have just met and whose final scores were very close. We will also meet the teams from the Croix d’Argent, Lattes and Nîmes. These last two have just arrived in PNF, so we have never played against them and we can’t wait to meet them to find out their level of play. All these teams have worked hard to reach the high pool. They will all want to win to reach National 3. We will have to prepare each match with seriousness, humility and a lot of desire!

One last word ?

I am proud of the results of my team in this first part of the season and I really hope that we will still have very good results in the upper pool and that we will be able to access National 3 next season.
