Basketball/NBA – The month’s awards revealed!

Yesterday, all the awards of the month of November and the end of October were announced by the NBA. Here are the winners:

Coach of the Western Conference: Monty Williams (Phoenix Suns)

Brilliant job by Williams for the beginning of the season! His team is at the first seed of the Western Conference. He succeeds to lead his team to the top with the weight of the rumours concerning a trade with DeAndre Ayton. The center is even very good in the recent days. Devin Booker is on another planet too and he will be also rewarded…

Coach of the Eastern Conference : Joe Mazzulla (Boston Celtics)

What a start by the rookie! This is his first year leading a bench in the NBA and he is already leading his team to the first team of the league. The context of his arrival was not ideal but the external issues of the last month are behind the Celtics. It seems like nobody can stop the Celtics and they are already on their way to the title.

Rookie of the Western Conference : Jalen Williams (Oklahoma City Thunder)

This is a little surprise. Selected at the 12th position, right after his teammate Ousmane Dieng, Jalen Williams had huge performances, especially his last one against the Spurs. He is impact of both sides of the court and quickly became a starter.

Rookie of the Eastern Conference : Bennedict Mathurin (Indiana Pacers)

He is the best scorer of the rookies. He is already one of the best, even the best teammate of Tyrese Haliburton. He is one of the best reason Haliburton has so much assists this season. The canadian is also the favourite player to win the award of the Rookie of the year according to the NBA.

Player of the Western Conference : Devin Booker (Phoenix Suns)

That is why we were talking about with the election of Monty Williams. Devin Booker is just unreal, especially this recent days. He proves again and again his ability of being a 3-level scorer. His defense is also improving little by little.

Player of the Eastern Conference : Jayson Tatum (Boston Celtics)

Logical. Approximately the same statement as Devin Booker. His coach is also elected as the coach of the month in his Conference and numbers are close to each other. JT is even a bit better regarding the statistics.
