La Bal au feminine in the making

“We receive a lot of questions about the event of the women’s section of the Ball, but it will come because there is a lot of talent, but also desire, passion for these young girls to play at basketball. In partnership with Fiba, we are here to feed these desires, to create opportunities so that girls can continue to play basketball at a high level, ”promised Mr. Fall.

“Very proud” to be alongside his “brother” Amadou Gallo Fall, the former Nba player is delighted to take part in the event.

“Being able to be there is really special for the girls. We talked about violence against girls. It is not a problem that for women, we talk about human rights. We are all together to talk about the important things, even if we use basketball. The values in basketball are the same,” said Joakim Noah. Before adding: “when we talk about leadership, we are talking about self-confidence. In Africa, women are shy. Can you be shy when you play in front of 20,000 people?” asks the former Nba pivot, member of the Nba Africa Investment Fund. “These are our lionesses and we have to show them that we are proud of them and that the future shines for them, as much as the men,” said Joakim Noah.
