Cava de’ Tirreni: home thefts, two Romanian citizens reported

On 30 November, as part of targeted services for the prevention and repression of crimes, staff of the PS Cava de’ Tirreni Commissariat, in via Oreste di Benedetto, a well-known residential area of ​​the city, hit in recent days by burglaries, he noticed two male subjects, dressed in dark clothes and wearing baseball-type caps who, at the sight of the car with the school colors, were trying to evade possible police control.

Promptly stopped and identified for SG of ’69 and CD of ’74, both of Romanian citizenship, it was ascertained that they had numerous previous criminal records and police prejudices for aggravated theft, home theft and other crimes against property. In the contextual personal search, they were found in possession of a multipurpose knife, a pair of scissors, a flashlight and a bottle opener, hidden in a backpack, objects subjected to seizure.

As far as has been ascertained, the two were reported in competition for the crime set forth in art. 707 of the criminal code (unjustified possession of altered keys or lock picks).

Furthermore, one of the subjects was notified of the urgent administrative measure issued by the municipality of Cava de’ Tirreni for a period of 3 years.
