The Compucenter and Venadas el Tecnológico de Parral teams became the two finalists of the current Municipal Basketball Tournament 2022, within the women’s free category, after beating Sparck’s teams 61-34 and 48-26 in the semifinals, respectively, in an activity carried out on Tuesday night on the floor of the Auditorium Gymnasium.

With the aforementioned, everything is ready for the grand final to take place, where these two winning teams will seek to close their participation with the conquest of the pennant with a flourish.
Prior to the semifinal round, in the quarterfinal phase, the following markers were presented; First, Mineras de Parral AC, beat the Champs Club team 40-30, highlighting the offensive, Elizabeth Cano with 16 units and Venadas del Tecnológico defeated Gallos 65-19 with the offensive power of Victoria Urquiza with 16 units.
For his part; Sparks, in a match not suitable for cardiac patients, beat Panteras de La Normal 47-46, standing out under the hoops, Diana Ozaeta with 19 points and Compucenter left Cbtis 228 on the road, with a score of 38-14, becoming present as the best scorer, Nayeli Moreno with 11 units.
With this, the semifinal keys were as follows: Venadas del Tecnológico de Parral Vs. Mineras de Parral AC and Compucenter Vs. Sparks.
Already in the semifinal phase, first, Compucenter defeated Sparks, with a score of 61 points to 34, with the results being fourth, in favor of the now finalists 16-10, 19-08, to go to rest 35-18 ; the third period was 14-9 and the last 12-8, to leave the final figures of 61-34, being the best players, Sindel Ríos with 15 points and Abigail Martínez with 13, for the rivals, Diana Ozaeta with 10 and Daniela Race with 9.
On the other front, Venadas del Tecnológico triumphed 48-26 against Mineras de Parral AC, emerging the following markers by period 13-2 and 8-10, to go to the break with a score of 21-12; the third half finished 14-5 and the last one 9-9, to register the final result of 48-26; For the winners, María Baca was the best with 20 points, while, for the falls, Nahomi Terrazas and Elizabeth Cano with 11 points each.
