Fluminense faces Unilife Maringá this Friday (12/09), at 18:30, at Ginásio Chico Neto, in Maringá, for the ninth round of the 1XBET Feminine Superliga. Sixth placed on the leaderboard with 13 points in seven games, Tricolor can rise up to two positions in case of victory in Paraná.
A victory without a tie-break this Friday puts the team ahead of Sesc RJ Flamengo, fourth placed with 15 points and two more games, and Osasco São Cristóvão Saúde, fifth with 13. The team from São Paulo, however, plays in same night against Barueri, at 8 pm, in Osasco.
Fluminense and Maringá have faced each other only twice in the Superliga, both last season. In the first round, tricolor victory in straight sets and, in the return, a new triumph, this time by 3 sets to 1.
“The team is more and more confident. We had a good performance against Minas, in the last round, and the trainings are also being very good. I believe that the team is growing in production as our relationship with Juma improves. I hope that we play happy and happy in Maringá because when that happens things flow”, said central Lays.
