The bottom of the table in the BBL, the Frankfurt Skyliners, are heading to Würzburg on Friday evening. At 7:00 p.m., the Frankfurt team will meet the Würzburg Baskets, currently in 12th place in the table. After four defeats in a row and only one win of the season, the Skyliners urgently need a sense of achievement again.
The Frankfurt Skyliners are currently not going through an easy phase. After the relegation was sealed last season, the wildcard meant that the basketball players in the Main metropolis can also play in the Bundesliga this season. But this season, too, things are not going well so far, only one win in eight games.
Skyliners are rested
Due to the BBL Cup last weekend, both teams had no play. The Frankfurters last played at home against Ulm on November 27th and lost 82:97. The Würzburg team had to play away in Munich on the same day and lost 73:83. Newcomer Marcus Lewis was able to be further integrated into the team and the systems through the free weekend and thus expands the Skyliner rotation on the small positions.
