The leading European MMA organization KSW will offer a match between two Polish legends – Mariusz Pudzianowski and Mamed Chalidov. In the run-up to Christmas, fans will also see the match for the most money in the history of European matches.
The organization Konfrontacja Sztuk Walki (KSW) has been improving in recent years and will now offer fans a duel between two legends. In the heavyweight division, Mariusz Pudzianowski (17-7) will face Mamed Chalidov (35-8-2).
“It will be a big match, the biggest in European history and also the most expensive for us,” confirmed the organization’s promoter Martin Lewandowski for our website. “It’s millions of zlotys, but even if you divide it in two and convert it to euros. We’re still talking about millions” the KSW promoter continued.
World’s Strongest Man Mariusz Pudzianowski has a lucrative deal in KSW and now he’s going up against another legend. “Pudzian” has won five in a row, his last loss was in March 2019. He last fought Michal Materla.
The opponent will be the veteran Mamed Chalidov, who has already been the main attraction of the KSW event eighteen times. No one in history has more appearances in the main event. “Cannibal” last fell with the former star of the Polish organization – Robert Soldič.
You can watch the KSW 77 gala on Saturday, December 17 on Voyo. As part of the gala evening, fans will also see two bantamweight title fights (Sebastian Przybysz vs. Jakub Wikłacz) and light heavyweight (Ibragim Chuzhigaev vs. Ivan Erslan).
