Many titles for the young Rivesaltais at the 2nd judo tournament in Argelès-sur-Mer.
Argelès-sur-Mer organized the second judo tournament for benjamins, chicks, mini-chicks, and baby, Judo from the riverside was present in these categories.
On Saturday, arbitration course followed by the compulsory UV4 exam to obtain the 1st dan black belt. Four Rivesaltais judokas Yann Meric, Lois Andrieu, Claire Baco and Aurélien Tiburcio, are received with the congratulations of the jury. They will prepare katas and sho-dan for obtaining the 1st dan belt rank so coveted by any judoka.
Among the youngest, Ambre Hervier won the bronze medal and Rose Bonnefond Baiget failed on the podium. She ranks 5th in her category. For the chicks, Paul Lambert Bareil won the bronze medal and Esteban Segura Martos won the gold medal for the second time.
For the mini-chicks, Manon Penin, Lisa Jean, Maely Martinez, Gabin Claudio Albero, Raphaël Serie, Jules Michaud and Robin Barnier rank 1st and get the gold medal. Among the baby judokas, an excellent performance from the four Rivesaltais who won the gold medal with Arthur Barnier, Alicia Bonnafous, Ayden Bonnafous and Paul Bascou.
