Years ago, Argentina positioned itself as the epicenter of training basketball in the region. In this program of growth and projection of the youth, she joined the Andean city of Tunuyán to celebrate the Argentine U15 Women’s Championship, one of the most prestigious and famous competitions in our sport. The tournament returned to the plans just a couple of days after the albiceleste coronation in the South American category.

The activity began with almost dawn in the background and with the spectators contemplating the amazing victory of Santa Fe by 106-20 over San Luis and with half of the team above the digits of points. A while later, Entre Ríos dispatched his pair from Córdoba 56-44 in a match that began to be defined from the locker room with a disparity of 21 points and with Josefina Álvarez as their main reference 11 (units and 11 rebounds). In that winning tour, the joy and joy of the Jujuy team was mounted to prevail over San Juan by 95 to 24 with the 46 points distributed between Iara Rosel and Luz Miranda.

The afternoon session continued with a new victory from Santa Fe to extend their winning streak. Much of that sporting success against La Rioja (90-25) was forged from the actions of Lola Ritondale with 17 points and 14 rebounds (10 offensive). In a duel with a strong impact, the Mesopotamian representatives surpassed Santiago del Estero with a perfect last quarter. In the last duel of the evening, the hosts revalidated their aspirations for the title after defeating Jujuy 74-44 with a great collective display in all their lines and a rebounding fight that was left for the side of Cuyo. Another game from Mendoza to treasure.

With these results from the initial phase, the federations of Entre Ríos, Mendoza and Santa Fe secured their stay in the Gold Cup. Córdoba, Jujuy and La Rioja entered the Silver Cup. While Santiago Del Estero, San Juan and San Luis agreed to the Bronze Cup.
