The IES Rodríguez Delgado has received from the prestigious association Circulo Intercultural Hispano Árabe, CIHAR, recognition for the work carried out by the department of Geography and History of the center.
This work began with the help of Professor Carmen Márquez and has now been continued by Marisa García, when in 2015 the first week of Roman history took place, later the week of prehistory and already in 2017 the week of Al-Alandalus.
In this way, it becomes the first secondary school to recognize this enhancement of coexistence and the study of a common past and of science and the history of the Spanish-Arab world.
