This week the 2022 Master Promotion Tennis Tournament was played and in the category of 14 years and under men, the champion was Joaquín Ramírez from Club Campestre de León.
The tournament summoned about 70 players from the categories of 8, 10, 12 and 14 years and under in both branches and was played from November 29 to December 3 on the fields of Campestre Leon.
In the men’s 14 and under category, host Joaquín Ramírez won the honors, after beating Lucio Pons from Club Britania; Third place went to César Martínez from Club Britania.
The other results were: In the 12-year-old male category, Diego Rodríguez from El Bosque took the honors and left Jorge Ortega from Club Punto Verde in second place and third place went to Marcelo Barba from Campestre.
In the women’s 12, Sofía Alonso from Campestre was the best, while Danny Villarreal from Britania came in second and Dalia Ibieta from El Bosque came in third.
Regarding the 10-year-old category, in the men’s branch the champion was José de Jesús Bernal from El Bosque and the finalist was Óscar Grajeda from the same club; in third place was Tiago Montes de Oca del Campestre.
In ladies, Allegra Gómez, from El Bosque, won the final against Andrea Sojo, from Campestre; in third was Eugenia Villanueva, from Campestre. And in 8 male years, the champion was Sebastián Moreno del Campestre and in second place was his partner Sebastián Péresandi.
