Club Badminton Soria-CS24 player Javier Barrios has closed the 2022 season with two wins in the qualifying test for the national ranking held in Oviedo.
after a fantastic season in which he achieved the national sub-championship in the sub-17 category, Javier begins to prepare for the next season in which he will make the leap to the sub-19.
precisely in Oviedo enrolled in that category to get placed in the national ranking, so that you can participate in the National Masters from the first part of the season.
In last Saturday’s event, the man from Soriano participated in both the individual and mixed double modalities together with Elena Dueñas from Burgos, with whom he will participate regularly in the coming season.
The individual draw was relatively comfortable for him, winning all his matches by two sets, while in the mixed double modality he won the final match 21-19 in the third set.
On the other hand, the sub-13 players of the Soriano club played in the Spain Championship of the category that took place in the Murcian town of Las Torres de Cotillas.
Most of them being first-year players in the category, none of them were able to access the final draw, gaining experience for the challenges they will have next season.
With these competitions Soria Badminton Club ends the season and will take a break as far as training is concerned, celebrating on these dates days of coexistence as well as the pertinent annual assembly of members.
