This Saturday, December 17, in Châteauroux, in Indre, she will therefore represent Aquitaine and compete with 30 other regional candidates to try to win the title of Miss France 2023. A “result” for the one who says she has been preparing for this competition “for seven years”.
Miss Bordeaux, Orianne Galvez-Soto, becomes Miss Aquitaine
The election of Miss Aquitaine took place this Sunday, October 2 at the Casino Barrière in Bordeaux. Orianne Galvez-Soto, originally from Dordogne, is the new Miss who will represent Aquitaine in the Miss France election
Originally from Verrettes in Haiti, the young woman was adopted at the age of 7 and a half months and grew up in Lembras, near Bergerac, in the Dordogne. Representing Aquitaine in the beauty contest is for her a “pride, a way of showing her gratitude” for what her region of heart has offered her.
Accustomed to the entertainment world
On the professional side, Orianne Galvez-Soto is a wig and make-up artist in the entertainment world. She is notably a graduate of the Françoise school of aesthetics. B, in Bordeaux.
Passionate about dance (when she was younger, she also practiced judo), she had started rehearsals in the Revue du Cercle musical bergeracois before her Miss Bordeaux imperatives prevented her from continuing with the troupe, where she nevertheless left a very good memory.
Skills that should help her for the show on Saturday evening during which the Misses will perform several choreographies on the theme of cinema.
Followed by more than 6,600 people on Instagram and a fan of travel, Orianne Galvez-Soto is also committed to the cultural development and education of children in Africa. One of her ideas is to develop a video concept where she could bring together content related to ethnic diversity.
Will these different facets allow her to bring the title back to Aquitaine for the seventh time, twenty-eight years after the coronation of Mélody Vilbert, Miss France 1995? Answer Saturday December 17 in Châteauroux during the 93e edition of the competition.
