More than 40 teams from middle schools, high schools, universities and clubs have confirmed their participation for the seventh edition of the Tulancingo 2023 Intercollegiate Basketball Games, which will begin next week.
The representative of the Mexican Basketball Sports Association (Ademeba) in Tulancingo, Mario Arroyo, reported that the institutions that have confirmed their participation so far are:
Águilas JI T Tulancingo, Conalep, Colegio México, Instituto Tollantzingo, Cuoh, Prepa 2, UTec, UPT, Jorge Berganza School, Lobos Blancos, Cobaeh, Técnica Japón, General Santiago High School, General Uno High School, José Rosas Moreno School, Hormiguis de Atotonilco, in addition to the male and female high school teams.
He said that the call is still open for those who are interested in joining this league, which arouses the passions of students, by defending the colors of each of their educational institutions.
He also informed that the headquarters fields confirmed so far are: Prof. Mario Castillo Sosa, Jaltepec field, Colmex Field. Tollantinzo court, as well as some alternate courts of the Javier Rojo Gómez sports unit.
Finally, he said that the Intercollegiate Games have been a good showcase for young people who play basketball for some years, since they make up the teams that represent Tulancingo in upcoming state and national qualifiers.
