Boris Becker loses his job at the BBC, his sons speak of an intimate relationship

The reason for this is quite simple: since his release from prison on December 15 and the associated conditions, Boris has not been allowed to enter England until at least October 2024.

For the television station, the multiple Wimbledon champion acted as a specialist during the Grand Slam tournament on the Sacred Lawn in London.

Since it is the only one of the big four Grand Slams for which Eurosport does not own the rights, Boris has always held the job with his English colleagues.

The pay TV provider Sky has been broadcasting this event on the German market since 2007. Will a door open for Boris there?

That is rather unlikely, because the broadcaster would have to dump the long-standing expert and former Davis Cup team boss Patrik Kuehnen (56).

But the former professional is doing a great job, so there is no reason for Sky to change personnel. Sky holds the rights to broadcast Wimbledon until 2026.

Boris will certainly be sad about this, but he always has strong support from his family.

In the Thursday edition of “Bunte”, his ex-wife Barbara Becker (56) and his two sons Noah (28) and Elias (23) talk about their relationship with Boris.

“Family is the most important thing and we stick together even in times of crisis. That goes without saying for us,” says Noah. He accompanied Boris alongside his partner Lilian de Carvalho Monteiro during his trial for bankruptcy offenses in London in April.

Elias explained to the magazine: “We deal with it openly when problems arise and have communicated a lot via FaceTime. But of course we are all relieved,” says Becker’s second son and added about the relationship with Mama Barbara: “I have the feeling that our bond is getting closer and closer.”

The reason for the interview is the Beckers’ divorce 22 years ago, after which Barbara moved to Miami with her sons and raised them there alone.
