Legendary MMA fighter Conor McGregor survived a nasty car accident after being knocked off his bike by a speeding car, as the athlete shared his turmoil on Instagram.
McGregor claimed that “he could have been dead” after cycling along a road near his home in Dublin, Ireland. The incident took place on Friday, after which he revealed on Instagram how the accident happened.
The 34-year-old thanked God after surviving a major scare as he was knocked off his bike by a speeding car, he revealed.
In a post that appears to have now been deleted, McGregor revealed his knowledge of judo and wrestling helped him land safely after the crash.

“I had a car hit just now from behind. A solar trap, the driver couldn’t see me. Full speed straight through me,” the Irishman’s post caption read.
“Thank God it wasn’t my time. Thank you wrestling and judo too. Having an awareness on landing saved my life,” he added.
McGregor walked away from the accident with minimal injuries, but he revealed his clothes torn and as the UFC star was in good driving condition, the man driving the car apologized to Conor and took him home.
“I could have died there. Jesus Christ, I ran away from my life there, guys. I don’t give a fuck mate. Everything is fine, everything is fine. Bon voyage, God bless my brother,” McGregor said after the man apologized to him after the crash.
