The girls directed by Eric Surís travel this Saturday to Tenerife, to pay a visit next Sunday to CDB Clarinós Ciudad de La Laguna Tenerife, in the Santiago Martín Sports Pavilion in San Cristóbal de La Laguna (7:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m. peninsular time-, Channel FEB).
Therefore, the clash against the other team from the islands is coming, after the defeat suffered last week in Alcantarilla against SPAR Gran Canaria. The jairistas will seek in this way to add again and, depending on the results, leave the penultimate position, with a balance of 6-11 so far. They will face the bottom team in the category, with only two wins to their credit, but who will face the game even more as a true final.
“You have to keep in mind that Clarinós is a team that has undergone many changes during the season. Many games that have gone with very few players, more changes in the squad that have conditioned their results, their performance. Now it seems that they have a stable roster, and from then on, they have a highly balanced team, who will surely consider the game as a final in their field”, Eric Surís stated this Friday at a press conference.
“They have very good players, like Izaskun García, Aisha Sheppard as the top scorer; Palenikova, who already did very well in the Faust in the first round. They also have very powerful inside players.
