According to latest injury reportJames was officially ruled out of Monday night’s game due to “left ankle pain”.
It is his first absence since January 9th. In that span, he’s averaged 34.0 points, 9.6 rebounds and 8.1 assists on 49.6 percent shooting and 36.0 percent from the 3-point line in 37.7 minutes per night.
His absence appears to be precautionary/load management after playing 44 minutes against the Celtics, with the Lakers taking on the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden the following night.
