Former Arizona Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury doesn’t seem close to an NFL return, preferring to take a step back by traveling to Thailand.
The 43-year-old reportedly refused to interview teams that approached him for an offensive coordinator position, according to Fox Sports reporter Peter Schrager. He would also have bought a one-way ticket to the Asian country showing that he does not know when he will return.
Recall that the Cardinals fired him Monday, the day after their last game of the season, a 38-13 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. General manager Steve Keim had meanwhile announced that he was stepping down to focus on his health after a very difficult season.
The Arizona squad finished with a 4-13 record. During his four seasons at the helm, Kinsgbury had a record of 28 wins, 37 losses and one draw.
