To kick off the 2023 season, celebrating his first Grand Slam in 2021 and his world number one last season, Lacoste presents Daniil Medvedev’s new crocodile. This new step in the union that began in 2019 between Medvedev and Lacoste is celebrated with a co-branded collection that marks the beginning of a new era.
The design of this new logo, largely inspired by gaming codes, perfectly describes Daniil’s personality both on and off the court.
In fact, like the multifaceted Crocodile, Daniil Medvedev always surprises. His leadership spirit and innate charisma allow him to revolutionize and alter the narrative. Tireless and self-confident, he does not hesitate to venture into new fields such as gaming. Both in IRL (in real life) and immersed in the game, Daniil Medvedev is innovative and unpredictable.
«The fact of participating in this new logo through a dedicated collection is a great pride for ml) it is the first time that a brand offers me something like this! It has been a great team effort together with the Lacoste creative studio. It perfectly reflects all my passions: tennis with the circle, for example, which evokes the tennis ball and gaming. I am confident that this custom logo will bring me good luck for this 2023 season. It will also be extra pressure, but I know I have what it takes to perform better this season together with the new custom silhouettes” says Daniil Medvedev.
The new logo will be revealed during the first tournament of the season in Australia, where Daniil Medvedev will hit the court in this new collaborative collection—a cap, polo shirt, and jersey. To celebrate this new chapter, Daniil will also play this first tournament of the season with a racket that features the new logo on the strings.
