MMA | An MMA fighter transforms into a soldier. With what is happening in the world, there was no longer anything to wait for, he explains

Although he lost in the cage in the last two duels, he cannot complain about his successes in his personal life. For example, he managed to get a fishing license, firearms license and hunting tests. Now Dvořák decided to go towards the fulfillment of another dream that he had been toying with in his head for some time. “In the future, I would like to join the active reserves and continue to devote myself to these things. I like tactical stuff. Weapons, combat training in buildings or in the forest, self-defense with and without a weapon,” he said in early December.

And word gave word, and after less than a month, the implementation of the plan is much closer. “I have been planning to join the active reserves for a long time and I am very happy that it will be possible very soon. I’ve been very close to the army since I was a child, and with what’s happening in the world there was nothing to wait for,” informs Dvořák on social networks.

“I will be with the 5th commando of the 43rd Airborne Regiment of Active Reserves. Basic military training awaits me, and in addition, I will help the soldiers in Chrudim with close combat training,” he adds. “I have already tried training soldiers once and it was great. That is why I am really looking forward to these next training sessions.”

Military training does not get in the way of a career as a fighter. “I don’t know yet how long the training will last, I’m waiting for its refill to arrive. But it’s nothing that should hinder my preparation for the next matches in the cage,” explained the representative of the flyweight, who last appeared in the round arena in the second half of December last year, when he was not good enough for Angolan Manel Kape.

Another MMA fighter will change into camouflage. “It looks like the 5th Active Reserve Commando of the 43rd Airborne Regiment will have reinforcements. MMA fighters are going to join our fighters in camouflage. Specifically, one of the Czechs in the UFC, David Dvořák, and his partner Míra Borovský. The boys will undergo standard military training, and they will also help us with close combat training,” informs the airborne regiment.

Dvořák thus faces a new challenge and the fulfillment of a childhood dream. After all, free time due to health problems from the last fight can paradoxically fulfill the Czech MMA fighter’s secondary desires.
