The coaches of Renaissance basketball club and many others were at the school of FIBA expert Brigitte Tonon, Sunday, January 15, 2023, at the Soweto Sports Center (in Akpakpa, Cotonou). It was on the occasion of the third Clinic of Renaissance basketball club, organized mainly at the place of his family as a prelude to the start of the new 2023 season. This, with the participation of the Technical Director of Renaissance Basketball Club, Pierre Tonon as well as of the National Technical Director (Dtn) of the Beninese Basketball Federation (Fbbb), Lamatou Tegbe.
Everything took place in a friendly and very warm atmosphere. A moment of rich lessons, exchanges and above all the sharing of knowledge and experiences. At the end of the work, the satisfaction was in the ranks of the participants who showed great interest as well as in the ranks of the managers of Renaissance Basketball Club. Indeed, they were nearly twenty coaches to participate in this Clinic. The work focused on the professional and effective management of a basketball game by coaches. To this end, the notions of coaching related to the theme have been carefully reviewed. The coaches have also expressed their enthusiasm for deepening their knowledge in this area and above all for discovering new and innovative types of elements.

The coaches of Renaissance Basketball Club as well as their colleagues from other clubs said they were very satisfied with the initiative which is not in its first edition. Among them, some are even looking forward to finding other clinics on new themes.
“We noticed during this clinic, that there are details on which we really did not pay attention and we drew our attention to them… Just before the start of the championship, it was necessary to already reframe ourselves in relation to what will be done,” said Coach Cédric Capo-Chichi. “This is a very good initiative from Renaissance Bbc. That’s why I moved. And if eventually we can have this kind of clinic, every 03 months, it will be really a very good thing for us as a coach, ”added coach Oswald Quenum. “I really enjoyed it, there was an atmosphere worthy of its name. I thank the president of the Renaissance BBC”, added the coach of Energy basketball club.
