It was the news of the night and we were obviously impatient to know the choice of voters. This time it’s good, we know the composition of the starters of the two Conferences for the All-Star Game 2023. We start immediately with the Western Conference.
LeBron James was already assured of the captaincy but it was still to be determined who would accompany the King to the West. It was finally Stephen Curry, Luka Doncic, Nikola Jokic and Zion Williamson who were chosen.

What to say about this list if not that it sweats the talent and the show? Inevitably, since there are only five places, that necessarily means big losers and disappointed. On the backcourt, we obviously think of Ja Morant, who had arguments to get a place in the five. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was also in contention, although he started from a little further back. On the frontcourt, Anthony Davis will not have exceeded the fan vote and he is replaced by Zion Williamson. Despite his long injury, Thanos therefore managed to be a starter, to the detriment, for example, of a Lauri Markkanen, the new idol of Jazz. If Curry, Doncic, James, Williamson and Jokic represent the West, they will not be teammates (except surprising scenario). The two captains, LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo, will carry out a Draft as in previous years to choose the compositions of the two teams. Something new this year: the show will be performed just before the match. There are only seven tickets left (the substitutes) to be taken to the West and it is the coaches who must now decide who will see Salt Lake City.
We know the ten players who will start the All-Star Game 2023. So, rather agree or not with this composition for the Western Conference?
