The second edition of the “Río Deport Fest”the event that brings together athletes from different disciplines and from all provinces, will be held from February 22 to 26 in Río Ceballos, the Capital of Sports Tourism.
This sporting event is organized by the Municipality of Río Ceballos, the Rio Ceballos Shopping Center and the Río Ceballos Bureau. The organization estimates more than 4,000 registrants and around 20,000 attendees who will meet in the Corredor de las Sierras Chicas.
Through the meeting, it is sought that Río Ceballos and “Río Deport Fest”, together advance towards the consolidation of an inclusive, supportive and sustainable sports event, duplicating activities, increasing registrations and participants, all this will also enhance its economic impact that will result in in around $40,000,000 of income in the Corredor de las Sierras Chicas.

The confirmed disciplines that will be part of this second edition of the “Río Deport Fest” are Handball, 3×3 Basketball, Squash, Tennis, Open Water Swimming, Ping Pong, Trail Running, Padel, Volleyball, Judo, Bike Polo, Mountain Bike, Cheerleading , E-games, Beach tennis, Muay Thai, MMA, Full contact and Kickboxing. The venues of the event will be: Eos sports district, Río Ceballos Sports Center, Impacto Gym, Contact runner, Arena padel, Círculo Italiano, Río Ceballos Shopping Center and Dique La Quebrada.
“Rio Sports Fest”, sustainable event, highlights and appreciates the significant participation of Rio Uruguay Seguros that donates, through Baum Fábrica de Árboles, 2,000 carob trees to recover native forest in the town. Baum, is in charge of reforestation; Río Deport Fest, Rio Uruguay Seguros and the Municipality of Río Ceballos pledged that this event would have a very low environmental impact, and for each event participant a tree planted is contributed.
The donated trees will be planted in a space coordinated with the Environment area of the Municipality of Río Ceballos, a clear commitment to make a change for a future that will benefit us all. Also, in the same way, training spaces will be shared for the benefit of the Córdoba Food Bank, highlighting the solidarity of the participants.
“Río Deport Fest” seeks to be the national sporting event with the support of its sponsors, and to highlight the sports, social, solidarity and sustainable characteristics that aim to promote healthy living and community values.
