On Sunday January 15, the badminton associations of Plouhinec and Mahalon joined forces to hold a friendly doubles tournament with their members at the Plouhinec sports hall. This tournament brought together 30 players from different clubs in the Bay of Audierne. Group matches of three teams took place throughout the afternoon. After eight matches, the results: finalists, Auréline Chambrelent and Pierre-Henri Thiollier; small final, Pierre Henri Botton and Étienne Jacquer; young final, Yaël Ledru and Loïc Jolivete.
“We hope to continue to promote badminton in Cap-Sizun and attract more and more young players to our clubs and in the future perhaps to form sports teams”, commented presidents Gilles Colin, from Plouhinec, and Regis Langlais, from Mahalon.
