Panama/The teams from Colón and Panama Metro face each other in a game corresponding to day three of the National Youth Baseball Championship Caja de Ahorros Cup 2023 where the metrillos achieved their first victory defeating the Columbus “beep beep” 6 runs for 4.

With a great job on offense from Omar Reluz who went 4-for-5 with two RBIs, combined with the pitching work of Roberto Dominguez who did not allow runs, the metrillos prevented a debacle by having a negative record of two lost games.

The colonenses went up in the same first episode and their high part, scoring three runs, Panama Metro reacted and they were able to come back and win the game 6 runs for 4.




The pitcher lost the game Edwin Montenegro who worked 5.1 episodes, allowed four hits, scored 3 runs, two of them were clean, bowled two and struck out seven batters.

The winner Roberto Dominguez he worked 5.2 innings, got two hits, bowled two and struck out four batters.

For Colón the best on offense were Angel Gonzalez 1-for-3 with two RBIs and Alan Mcclean 2-for-4 with an RBI.

For the metrillos, in addition to Omar Relúz, Joshua Cedeño also helped the offense 5-3 with two runs scored and Emanuel Forde 4-1 with a run scored.
