Badminton: zoom on the final of the Aude championships

In this month of February in Narbonne, 65 young people were registered for the final of the Aude young badminton championships.

The fifteen representatives of Badminton Trèbes-Carcassonne won five titles out of the eleven put into play in the various tables of series 1, that of ranked players.

Florian Meissonnier confirms his recent performances and wins again over Elio Rousseau de Castelnaudary, in junior.

Louise Gensch who trains, like Florian on the Carcassonne Grazailles site, returns with two titles : in single face to Marissa Sempère the Trébéenne. Then, the two players together won the title of women’s doubles against the Narbonne pairs.

The Conreaux brothers are a great competition : Lucas the high school student loses in the junior singles final, but wins in doubles with his brother who, for his part, flew over the competition in the minimal singles.

Among the children’s minibads born in 2015, the Mahieu twins in silver and bronze had a great afternoon and had a lot of fun with the other Aude children of their age.

In junior men’s doubles Théo Marcorelle associated with Elio from BCCA finished second, separated from the other pairs by the difference in points scored, although they beat the double winner.
