During the Head and Legs challenge organized on January 26 and 27, 2023 at the Éric-Tabarly gymnasium, the sports star badminton 60 years and over brought together around fifty members. Five women’s teams and five men’s teams of four players were formed. If the legs were occupied by the matches (men’s doubles, women’s doubles and mixed doubles), the head was put to the test by questions of general knowledge and games during which the participants were invited to recognize, on an exhibition of photographs , their fellow members when they were children. President Med Marah and host Jacqueline Eugène are pleased with the good participation and the success of this challenge, which took place in good humor and camaraderie.
The 60 and over club offers many activities during the year 2023. Thursday March 9, afternoon bike ride. Friday March 24, friendly game of pétanque on the Espace des Bizais. Saturday 29 April, at 4 p.m., convivial moment, snack and buffet hosted by Med Marah and Jacqueline Eugène. In May (date to be specified), intergenerational meeting with young people from the Jules-Verne college. Saturday June 3, at 2 p.m., friendly pétanque tournament with friendly clubs.
