Lolie Alonso, in minimal in the under 40 kg, and Myriam Jyed, in junior in the 78 kg, have both won their tickets for national meetings scheduled in Villebon on March 25 and in Paris on March 5.
The two members of the Alliance Judo Ouest Audois Carcassonne (AJOA, Carcassonne Olympique Judo), Lolie Alonso and Myriem Jyed Miriam, have just achieved great performances by winning their ticket for the French championship.
For Lolie Alonso, the younger of the two, this selection for the minimal French Cup is the logical continuation of her career. The previous season, she had already finished in 5th place, at the foot of the national podium. Regular since the beginning of the season, it is with a great mastery that she imposes herself in the category of less than 40 kg. Exemplary on the tatami, she will be keen to shine for this final stage, and will do everything to get on the podium in Villebon on March 25th.
For Myriam Jyed, it was among the juniors that she distinguished herself. By reaching the regional final in Méze, she opens the doors to the French championship in Paris on March 5 in 78 kg. She is going to experience her first individual French championship, it’s a great reward. The task will not be easy, but she will put all her heart into it so as not to have any regrets, and to fully experience this delicious moment.
The leaders and teachers of the AJOA Carcassonne (Carcassonne Olympic Judo) are delighted with these two fine selections. Despite the problems the club is currently encountering due to the renovation works of the sports center, and the difficulty of training properly, it is good to see that things are progressing despite everything.
Note in passing that the Carcassonne Olympic Jujitsu section will be present this weekend at the French cadet and junior championship in Châtellerault, with Ege Turan, Olympe Travain, Clément Abada, Alan Gaspard as a cadet and Anna Lou Meynard as a junior. Beautiful experiences in perspective…
