Who will win their first ATP title?
Medvedev, Shapovalov, Khachanov: Jack Draper. “He’s a good player, he’s rising and I think he has all the skills to win a first title,” said Khachanov. Jack Draper: “Hopefully I can win my first ATP title this year.” John Isner names Matthew McDonald and Marcos Giron, Australian Open winner Kokkinakis sees Botic van de Zandschulp with a trophy.
Who will win the most Masters 1000 titles?
Isner, Medvedev, Kokkinakis, Draper: “Novak!” “He’s just so strong when he plays and he wins a lot of tournaments,” said Medvedev. Kokkinakis: “He’s just the most complete player.” Shapovalov would be for Medvedev, Khachanov for Tsitsipas. Nadal: “Zverev. I think he had a very difficult 2022 after his injury. And I’ve always believed that when you come back from a tough time and can win a few games, you have incredible power.”
Who will win the most Grand Slam titles this year?
Everyone agrees: Novak Djokovic. Kokkinakis: “Unfortunately again” (laughs).
Who will win which Grand Slam tournament?
With the Australian Open winner, all professionals have already named the right one with Djokovic. Shapovalov and Draper are of the opinion: “You can’t really name Rafael Nadal at the French Open.” Isner also agrees. Kokkinakis: “You don’t know how Alcaraz will come back. He is very good on clay.” At Wimbledon, Shapovalov, Draper and Isner relied on Novak Djokovic. Shapovalov: “At the US Open it will be someone you didn’t expect.” Isner: “I’ll stir things up here and name Sascha Zverev.” Kokkinakis: “Jannick (note: Sinner), Carlos (note. : Alcaraz) or Medvedev could win the title. But to be honest, anyone could win.” Draper backs Medvedev. He replied, “I can’t really talk about it because I don’t want to name myself, but I still want to win them all. I will do my best and not predict winners because I will try to be the winner of some Grand Slam tournaments.”
Who will have the best comeback?
Draper: Kyle Edmund. He’s going to win big this year and be back where he belongs.” “Wawrinka, he’s part of an older generation — the older guardians of the sport,” Isner says. Khachanov: “Stan or Dominic. Both of them are Grand Slam winners and great champions.” Rafael Nadal also sees Thiem at the top of this category: “Dominic. I like him. He’s a champion and a great player. I have full confidence in him.” Medvedev agrees: “If he plays the way he did when he was at his top level, he always has a chance.”
