First youth departmental circuit for the badminton club

The ACS Buzançais badminton club inaugurated, on Sunday 21 January, its first young departmental circuit, which made it possible to welcome just over eighty young badminton players at the Sablons gymnasium. This first meeting was organized in the municipality, jointly with the departmental badminton committee. “Since the creation of the club in 1998, we had never organized a competition at Les Sablons due to lack of space and space, underlined President Guillaume De Meira. This is a great first for us and the clubs in the department have responded. » Thirteen clubs from the department were represented and competed in women’s and men’s doubles on the four courts, with very tough matches. The young buzancéennes players played very well: in series 3, in women’s doubles, Teeya De Meira, associated with Chloé Bergeron from the Châteauroux club, took the second step of the podium, as did Lino Billante and Eween Balourdet, from the club of ‘Arthon, in double man chick and Nolan De Meira and Antoine Desbois, from the Villedieu-sur-Indre club, in double man series 1. On April 1, the team of President De Meira is organizing a second meeting, but this time with a young mixed doubles tournament, and the club will be alone in charge of this organization.
