Greek Tsitsipas wants tennis date with Nati star

Around the first two test games under neo-Nati trainer Inka Grings, Alisha Lehmann tries out a different discipline. The 24-year-old shows up on a tennis court with her national teammates.

“Something different,” writes the striker on Instagram for some snapshots. And thus arouses interest in the tennis world.

Lehmann is immediately contacted by a tennis professional – and his name is no less than Tsitsipas!

The Lehmann follower is not Australian Open finalist and world number 3 Stefanos Tsitsipas, but his little brother Petros.

“Are we playing mixed?” asks the 22-year-old Greek cheekily – and receives positive feedback. “Let’s go,” writes Alisha Lehmann back. So will the Nati star soon be taking part in proper tennis training?

Most recently, the Emmental made her comeback in the Swiss national team. In two friendlies against Poland, there were two draws under new coach Grings (0-0, 1-1).

Petros Tsitsipas, currently world number 1398, recently played successfully for Greece together with Stefanos. Thanks to the two brothers, the country secured a place in the world group of the Davis Cup.
