GUIDONIA – Judo, the baby athletes protagonists at the provincial championship

The smile is of Thomas Innocenti10 years old from Guidonia, who yesterday, Sunday 19 February, together with his tatami companions, was the protagonist of the Judo Trophy “Carnevale” organized by the Provincial Committee of Rome of the National Educational Sports Center (Csen) in collaboration with the “Asd Judo Kiai” at the “Arrigo” Palazzetto in Zagarolo and dedicated to the categories Children, Kids, Teens and Beginners A of age aged between 5 and 15 years.

A competition with 450 athletes, organized by the President of the provincial Csen, the master of Judo Frank Pennaand Csen manager of the Judo sector Robert Fortunati.

Representing Guidonia Montecelio was the team of “Asd Anco Marzio”directed by the masters Robert Pomponius e Franco Agliatasupported by technicians Luca Santi, Francis Del Core, Luca Patron, Chiara Pomponius e Angelica Garlicsensei’s daughters.

Four Guidonian judokas on the highest podium: Nicholas Agliata e Flavio Marchesi were first classified in the Boys category, while Jacob Spain e Margaret DiReta they won in the Children’s category.

Two second places, always in the Children category, with Mario Lucarelli e Gaia DiMario.

In the Boys category Thomas Innocenti took third place.

On Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 February the Guidonian baby judokas of the masters Roberto Pomponii and Franco Agliata had been protagonists of the provincial competition organized at the Monterotondo Sports Hall by the Italian Federation of Judo Fighting Karate Martial Arts (Fijlkam).

In the Boys category he was on the highest podium once again Nicholas Agliatain second place Thomas Innocenti.

In the Children category Luigi Santi e Jacob Spainin two distinct weight categories, had won first place, Mario Lucarelli the second and Nicole Patron the third.
