After the Olympics, she was devastated. A year later, Katharina Menz fought back and not only showed it to herself, but also to her doubters. Now they have one big goal.

With a laugh, Katharina Menz describes herself as a little rowdy. The 32-year-old actually benefits from what very few people would voluntarily name as a character trait, because Menz committed himself to martial arts judo at the age of six and a half. “I used to like to compete with others,” the judoka looks back.
