Organization of the event, which has the support of SAPO Esporte, confirmed the presence of Gonçalo Uva, José Sampaio e Nora and Teresa Santos.
The Thinking Football Summit 2022, the Great Professional Football Fair, is moving towards its opening whistle and this Thursday unveiled a new range of confirmed speakers.
Gonçalo Uva, former player of the national rugby team and current Senior Business Developer at APEX CAPITAL, is a confirmed presence at the Thinking Football Summit 2022. The Portuguese player had an elite career, representing clubs such as Montpellier Rugby Club (TOP 14) and Racing Club Narbonnais (PROD2), from the French championship, for seven years. He also reached the mark of 100 games for the Portuguese national team, having participated in the Rugby World Cup in 2007. In October 2022, he joined APEX Capital as a Senior Business Developer.
Another confirmed speaker is José Sampaio e Nora, an experienced lawyer who has established his career in the area of law linked to Professional Football. In addition to being a lawyer and consultant, he is also Chairman of the Board of the Portuguese Association of Sports Law, Arbitrator of the Joint Arbitration Commission of the LPFP / SJPF and Member of the National Sports Council.
Finally, also confirmed is the presence of Teresa Santos, since 2007 responsible for the Sustainability area of FC Porto. During these years that she leads the blue and white club, she has contributed to the development and implementation of several projects in the area of sustainability that raise the brand to an international level.
Examples of this are the implementation of color coding for color blind people, audio description or the use of reusable cups on match days. Currently, she is also a trainer at the FC Porto Football Science Institute.
The Thinking Football Summit 2022, event in which SAPO Esporte is a Media Part, is less than a month away from its start. It will take place from the 18th to the 20th of November, in Porto, and tickets are already on sale. In addition to the three names now announced, the presence of, among others, the presidents of FC Porto, Sporting and SC Braga, Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa, Frederico Varandas and António Salvador, Domingos Soares Oliveira, CEO of Benfica, Javier Tebas, president of the Spanish League, coach Abel Ferreira or Tiago Pinto, General Manager of Roma, among many others.
