At the board meeting held in Matsumoto City on the 20th, the Prefectural Takanoren decided to set the schedule for the 105th National High School Baseball Championship Nagano Tournament this summer to start on July 8th and finalize on the 27th. Considering the preparation period of the schools participating in Koshien, the finals, which were usually held on Saturdays and Sundays, will be brought forward and held on weekdays.
On July 8th, only the opening ceremony will be held at the Matsumoto City Ballpark. The main venue is the Nagano Olympic Stadium, where the quarterfinals will be held on the 22nd and 23rd, and the semifinals on the 25th. Last year, there was a two-day rest day before the semi-finals and finals, respectively, but this year, the period was shortened by having a one-day rest day.
In addition, in the autumn regional qualifying round, the first round will be held in August to determine the seed schools, just like last year. The official game schedule will be officially decided at the board of directors and councilors meeting in April.
