PMU – Arrival of the quinté of Monday February 20 at Paris-Vincennes: Héradamès finishes the fastest

Twenty-four hours after the coronation of Koctel du Dain in the Critérium des Jeunes (Gr. I), the first quinté of the week also took place at the Paris-Vincennes racecourse (12th). Reserved for males aged 6 to 8, this European event brought together fifteen competitors, after the Hyper Fast (n°2), escaped shortly before the start. After a journey of 2,850 m on the big track, the prize went to Heradames (#12). After waiting in the peloton, the resident of Jean-Pierre Barjon, the President of LeTrot, finished the fastest, which allowed him to win his first quinté for his second participation.

This 6-year-old male is ahead of Treasure Grail (#15), the host, and Howdy Quick (n°5), constantly noticed in the leading group. After chomping at the bit all the way to the finish line, Hurricane River (n°9) could never find the opening on the straight and had to settle for fourth place. He is ahead Hove Pont Vautier (#16) and Hulk’s Sisu (n°6), certainly the good mark of this test. Indeed, this resident of Jean-Michel Bazire lost precious lengths on a prank at the start before finishing in a pleasant action in sixth place. Disappointment with the favourite, Readly Lavec (n°14), object of a catch shortly before the start. This Scandinavian competitor clearly dropped his foot in the straight line, after having constantly trotted outside the host.
