The rehabilitation works of Terminal 2 from the International Airport of Mexico City (AICM) Benito Juárez have a 27 percent advance, reported the Head of Government of Mexico City, Claudia Sheinbaum.

During the morning conference this Monday of the president Andres Manuel Lopez ObradorSheinbaum informed that, thanks to the construction of the airport in St. Luciais that the HERE “it continues to exist” and assured that this year the rehabilitation works of said aerodrome will be completed without stopping the service it provides to travelers.
He recalled that Terminal 2 has a subsidence of the ground and that the piles were exposedso it was expected to be demolished in 15 years, despite having had an investment of 10 thousand million pesos.
Sheinbaum stressed that a series of investments have been made in the terminal buildings of three thousand 247 million pesos, and for the runways and platforms with an investment of two thousand 205 million pesos.

He stressed that all the rehabilitation works at the AICM imply an investment of 8 thousand million pesos and that, for this year, the maintenance of filming tracks will be carried out.
