The Royal & Ancient has formalized the number of spots involved to validate its presence at the 151st British Open in history scheduled from July 20 to 23 at Royal Liverpool. If six places have already been delivered to the Joburg Open (November 24-27, 2022) and at theISPS Handa Australian Open (December 1-4, 2022), nine other tournaments have yet to deliver their verdict.
The PGA Tour will thus offer three times three places to the best players having crossed the cut and not yet being exempted for the last Major of the season. This is theArnold Palmer Invitational (March 2-5), you Wells Fargo Championship (May 4-7) et du Memorial Tournament (June 1-4).

L’Asian Tour will allow the four best of the World City Championship disputed in Hong Kong (March 23-26) to join England this summer. They will also be four via the Mizuno Open (May 25-28) counting towards the Japan Golf Tour and only two KOLON Korea Open (June 22-25), tournament co-sanctioned by the Asian Tour and the Korean Golf Association.
On the DP World Tourthe British Masters (June 29-July 2), the Made in Himmerland (July 6-9) and the Genesis Scottish Open (July 13-16) will offer three places each. Finally, sixteen places will be put into play on July 4 during the ” regional finals » organized on four different sites: Burnham & Berrow, Dundonald Left, Royal Cinque Ports et West Lancashire.
