The Argentine Trungelliti advanced to the round of 16 of the American Tennis Challenger in Waco

Argentine Marco Trungelliti advanced today to the round of 16 of the Waco Tennis Challenger, in the United States, beating German Dominik Koepfer 2-6, 6-4, 6-4 in his first round debut.

Trungelliti from Santiago, ranked 228 in the ATP world ranking, needed 2 hours and 12 minutes to beat German Koepfer (233) in a changing match.

The Argentine will meet in the second round with the winner of the match between Juan Pablo Ficovich (205) from Buenos Aires and the Frenchman Alexandre Müller (146), who will meet tomorrow.

The Waco Challenger, a city located in the US state of Texas, takes place on fast surface courts and will distribute a total of $80,000 in prizes. (Telam)
