It has been 15 days since it has a registry of the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) of considerable size, open, and putting at risk passers-by who walk on Paseo Ejército Mexicano avenue in the city of Veracruz.
It is with Rododendro corner of the Flores del Valle neighborhood where this dangerous “trap” is located, and it is in the middle of the corner and on the sidewalk where the registry has several days without the cover being restored.
According to the neighbor Marco Avendaño, two weeks ago a fire was registered in this register and it caused the power to be left in several areas, and when the CFE took care of it, they no longer placed the cover, leaving the register where there are high voltage cables completely open. , and where they also fit at least two people.
“The registry was set on fire, the registry had a concrete cover, broken, broken, because the trucks pass by (…). With the north, it was filled with dry leaves and garbage, something happened that made a short circuit and all the dry leaves caught fire (…), but the record remained open”.
They fear that people could fall into it despite the fact that it is cordoned off, especially the students who walk around every day at hours when the sunlight has already gone down.
