With just 17-43 losses this season, the Hornets are absolutely atrocious to watch. Their only grounds for hope? A top pick in the next draft and LaMelo Ball’s level of play. If he has still been disturbed by injuries, the leader is averaging more than 23 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists and could well let go of something unheard of in 2022-23:

If these figures are in principle quite encouraging, we can not however say that there is really something to smile about for him. Because at the same time, his team is desperate and it’s an understatement…
