With Messi, Mbappé and Richarlison, ESPN shows The Best FIFA Football Awards live – 02/23/2023

The year 2022 brought a season full of great football stories, with memorable performances by traditional teams reaching the top of the European championships and countries demonstrating their competitive capacity in the 2022 FIFA World Cup. FIFA Football brings together the sport’s protagonists worldwide and the ceremony will be shown live throughout Brazil on ESPN and Star+ channels, next Monday (27th), at 5 pm, with a presentation by Paulo Andrade and comments by Leonardo Bertozzi.

A distinguished international jury made up of coaches and captains from the current men’s and women’s national teams, an expert journalist representing each team and fans registered on FIFA.com will vote for the best from each shortlist in 7 different categories.

Brazil will be represented in the award by the best scorer of the Selection in the 2022 FIFA World Cup. in the Qatar tournament. The Brazilian disputes the honor with the Frenchman Dimitri Payet and the Polish Marcin Olensky. In addition to the player, the commander of the Brazilian Women’s National Team Pia Sundhage competes for The Best in the Best Coach category.

Argentina will also get much of the spotlight at the awards.
