A night of martial arts in Biganos

Barely two weeks ago, our newspaper announced the holding on March 4 of the first “Martial Arts Night” at the Barp. A “pioneering” initiative that shook the world of martial arts, and as with all self-respecting earthquakes, there are aftershocks. And it is from Biganos that this echo will come. The Thai boxing and MMA (mixed martial arts) club Phaenda Korth Boxing Gym in Biganos is indeed organizing its “Night of martial arts and combat sports” on April 14th. Nicolas Gaillet, president and trainer, explains the origin of this initiative. “We wanted to bring together all the combat sports associations to hold this event in Biganos. It’s not just rugby and football in Biganos! »

Spectacular

The association, created in 2021, is now coming out of the woods and is bringing two judo clubs in its wake, the David Marini academy, the Biganos karate club and the sazaku fight team academy. In all, fifty athletes and fighters will participate in this great evening with strong demonstrations. “Each discipline will offer to see the spectacular side of its practice. We will also, as far as our club is concerned, plan to present our disciplines, Muay Thai and MMA, as well as their history. Men, women and children will put on the show, so there will be something for everyone. The event will take place at the Biganos gymnasium. “All of the funds will be donated to the benefit of the oncology department of La Teste hospital” specifies the president.

Friday 14 April at 7.30 p.m., Biganos gymnasium, rue de la Verrerie. Info on 06 95 78 42 56. Refreshments and catering.
